What is the Extreme Linux Programming course?

What are the prerequisites?

iCanProgram: Intro to Linux Programming or a working Linux
knowledge of Linux C programming

C programming reference book. This course is not
a C programming course but we will be producing several small programs
using the C language.

What will you be learning?

what exactly is Extreme Programming anyway?

how to build testable code under Linux using very basic tools and the C
language

how to really use encapsulation, interprocess communication and tokenized
messaging

we will apply all this to learning how to program a network
appliance live on the Internet
Is there a fee?

but in return we expect you to make a voluntary contribution to your local
Cancer Research charity

absolutely no additional software needs to be purchased

everything you need will be either on your Linux distribution or freely
downloadable from the Net
When does the course start?
